Mathome Training & Development (Pty) Ltd

organisation based in Limpopo, North West, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Northern Cape. The organisation
serves both internal and external (mobile) functions of a service provider, servicing mining industries in all
provinces in South Africa and in Africa on project based.

1.     Requirements

The incumbent must be experienced with a track record or record of service in the following:

a.     Formal Education

·         Standard 10 and or Grade 12, OR Equivalent,

·         At least a Certificate in ETDP Level 4 or equivalent,

·         Assessor and Moderator certificate with the ETDP SETA accredited provider, is a must have

b.    Work experience, training received and responsibilities

·         Blasting ticket for scheduled and or Surface mines or National Certificate: Rock breaking coal or opencast/pit/surface mining Level 3,

·         Mechanized mining operations experience for at least 3 years after qualifying.

·         First Aid certificate,

·         Open Pit/Surface Coal/Hardrock Mining experience

·         Project management skills will serve as an advantage.

·         Learning material design and development,

·         The ability to function without supervision,

·         Consultative communication skills,

·         Facilitation and presentation of technical training including assessments of competency.

·         Registration as an assessor and moderator with the MQA will serve as an additional advantage.

·         Research and or Needs Analysis specialist will serve as a further advantage.

This positions is a permanent based position and may require extensive travelling (local and international) by means of own reliable transport for all local travelling.
